By founding BostonPHP and leading the (all-volunteer) effort over so
many years, you provided an invaluable service to the community. You
did so much to foster the growth and vitality of the PHP community in
Boston. You volunteered so much effort and time, arranging for the
best speakers and listening so well to what both the 'market' was
doing and what local developers were challenged with. Not only did
you organize the regular meetups, but also built the BostonPHP.org
website, the mailing list, the jobs board, the publisher discounts...

I really wish you well in your pursuits, and I'm hopeful that a strong
new leader will emerge to inherit the mantle you've left.
