Ok, Unity looks pretty sick.

----- Whew. Dodged a bug on that one.

Can you recommend any books that helped you learn how to use it.
I've looked on amazon for any books on Unity, and it seems it's a bit
too early for that.

----- There are no books yet, but there are three incredible
tutorials on the Unity website - they're should be books, in fact!
You can check them out at the top of this page, which also provides
an online version of the Unity documentation: http://unity3d.com/
documentation.html.

Is C# another way of saying .Net?

----- Yeah, it's that very C#. Unity has a lot of Mono in it. Bear
in mind though, you can also program in JavaScript or good old C++.
You can even mix scripts written in all three in one project, which
is handy, since Unity comes with so many great scripts out of the
box. not to mention all of the great code on the Unity forums:
http://forum.otee.dk//.

Enjoy!
