I should add that the GDC management has given the verbal approval for
expanding the Casual Games Summit at the GDC from a one-day to a two-day
event, with the first day geared toward relatively newbies and the second
day geared toward veterans.

I would say for the shear size, value and networking opportunities my money
would be on GDC. For around $1000 you get four days of great talks, an
informative exhibit hall and some very nice parties afterwards ;)
