[casual_games] Tools for create game backgrounds

Gert-Jan is right.  A buddy of mine used Bryce several years ago.  It is an
amazing program, but somehow got left behind during the ensuing 3D Package
wars.

 

If you don’t have time to create your own art, I suggest posting on
HYPERLINK "http://www.gamejobs.com/"www.gamejobs.com or HYPERLINK
"http://www.gamasutra.com/"www.gamasutra.com for a 3D artist and offer some
royalty split on the back end.  I’ve seen it done before.  Just be careful,
you can really get burned on barter deals if you don’t get the right person.

There used to be a tool called Bryce 3D, I don't know if it's actively used
nowadays.
We've never used it, but I've seen incredible lifelike results made with it.
Otherwise you might want to look at Dreamscape (HYPERLINK

pe.asp) which you can use with 3DSMAX.
