When I first approached publishers about writing a book focused on casual
games industry and development practices more than a year ago I was met with
more than a little skepticism. I was thrilled when the good folks at Charles
River Media saw the light and today I'm ecstatic to report back that my new
book, Creating Casual Games for Profit and Fun is ranked #2
[http://yp.amazon.com/gp/new-releases/books/15375251/ref=pd_nr_pg_1/t/102-86
45751-2692113?ie=UTF8&pg=1] in sales at Amazon's Hot New Releases in Game
Programming.
It really does demonstrate that the casual game industry is pressing heavily
on the minds of game producers and developers. I know that I learned an
enormous amount from the good people on this list and I just wanted to share
the good news and thank you all again for your great ideas, kind support,
and constant insight.
Thanks
