Let's not forget the huge flap over rock and roll
and the ultimate corruptor of American youth -
Elvis the pelvis - on national TV. I actually
used the analogy when speaking before the Florida
legislature committee considering a Wackie Jackie
promoted anti game bill and one of the
legislators was outraged by the comparison...he
call my analogy shameful because Elvis was a
great man - not evil and never had been. Well
the truth is that's not the way it
was. Interesting how Elvis is now revered as a
great American icon in spite of the fact that
when he came out he was a pariah and that he died
on the floor of his Vegas hotel suite by choking
on his own vomit from a drug overdose. But now
he is apparently been cleansed by time and nearly deified.
