Is there a source for the articles outside of downloading and installing the
entire SDK?

Thanks,

This article is an opinion piece by Alex St John. From my quick reading, all
the content was already discussed here a thread here a few weeks ago. I
recommend you check the archives for various responses. There are also a
surprising number of responses to this article posted on <
<http://slashdot.org> http://slashdot.org>.

In short, the article expresses Alex St John's views on the likely impacts
of Windows Vista features on games in general and casual games in
particular. Not everyone agrees with him. As there's no scientific data on
percentage of agreement or disagreement, it is anyone's guess as to how many
people agree or disagree.

If you don't understand what is happening with Windows Vista as it impacts
games, you should take some time to educate yourself. The best place to
start are the technical articles in the DirectX SDK (December 2006).
