[casual_games] Latest on screen sizes?

Actually I think the question still bears asking. I know for example that I
was surprised to see that grab resizes to 640x480 (appx) - which causes a
pretty significant degradation from an 8x6 shockwave game for example.

I've seen several online variants that seem to like the small format. It's
one of the reasons that at least one of our most recent efforts is flash
based - with everything vector-based the scaling is really sweet (all the
way down to PDA sizes)

I suspect that these online variations often have to be custom built for the
smaller popup windows but I'd love to hear from some of the bigger
companies. I think for example that Zuma Deluxe 2 runs at the higher 1024
screen size, but I suspect it may be 3D resizing dynamically base on system
capacity.

The advantage in that case is really stunning graphic quality. This question
is probably hard to pin down though as standards are constantly shifting.
Does grab still shrink games to 6x4?

Note to self: search the archives for "resolution", not screen size.

/me sighs.
