Hi Everyone,

I hope that you have had a pleasant spring. Below is information on your
company participating in the CGA Summer Research Report, please take a look
below and either fill out the information or forward along to the
appropriate party at your company. The information collected by the CGA will
be important for gathering data that will affect all of us - from
programmers to those in business.

This year, the CGA is planning to do two main research projects:
1- *Projections and Market Sizing.* This year we are working with
ScreenDigest to produce overall market sizing in North America, Europe and
Eastern European casual games markets for casual games distributed on PC,
Console and Mobile. We encourage each of you to contact Piers Harding-Rolls,
piers.hardingr at screendigest.com, +44 (0)1223 312571. Those who participate
are given a more detailed report at the end of the survey, so it is in your
best interest to participate. Each year we work with an analyst to assist
them in reporting on the casual games industry.
2- *Content and Company Profiling.* This research is done in house at the
CGA and a full detailed report will be given to all companies who
participate and the Canadian Government. (Yes, the Canadian's love you.
Lots) As a member of the casual games industry, you are invited to
participate and those who do so will be listed in the report as well.

We have discussed our Content and Company Profiling with many of you and are
excited about the positive reaction from the community and thank everyone
who has helped us in the planning stages. The CGA is looking for numbers
that will be useful for you when planning and running a business. We will
not use these numbers to determine market size or stack rank
companies/games.

The survey results have been separated into two categories, so that each
participating company will know exactly how the information will be used.
1- Non-Aggregate. These numbers will be used in specific company highlights
at the back of the report and in condensed form for marketing materials.
This information will come from the Non-Aggregate information you supply
with us. You will be able to review this before it is published and will
include contact information for potential partners and press to contact you.
2- Aggregate. The information supplied for the Aggregate will only be
released in Aggregate this information will not be released to the public.

A number of you, well two of you so far, have submitted way more information
to be published than in the surveys. If you do submit more information than
standard - you will get more space for your company's profile. Something to
think about eh? Email me for more information.

Many of you suggested an online survey all on one page would be easiest to
fill in the information. We have separated the Aggregate and Non-Aggregate
to be very clear what will be listed next to your company.
