[casual_games] Use of keyboard on casual games

There is, of course, the chestnut in this business that "there are no real
rules," meaning that it's entirely possible to get a casual game to work in
the space that utilizes the keyboard.

However, I think that of all the "rules" that generally apply in this
market, the mouse-only mandate is a hard one to get past. Word games can get
away with it for obvious reasons, but few others. I can see getting away
with a Spacebar option, maybe, but you will pretty much automatically limit
your audience the moment you enter a keyboard into the equation.

Having said that, I do believe increasing the Social aspect of the space
will expand the population to include people who will be willing to use the
keyboard for communication... and possibly a small amount of game play.

must allow the user control the game via mouse, or it's ok to use the
keyboard to that?
