[casual_games] Crediting the Departed

I think that credits on a project should be an obligation. Over the
years I have heard several different arguments against including
credits, and in all the cases they seem to boil down to the same
thing. Management is afraid that by crediting individuals they will
set those people up to be headhunted away. The truth is top talent
will be head hunted in this industry, and the only way to prevent it
is to actually take care of your people so they don't want to leave.

This is a pretty big subject, and I'd encourage anyone interested in
this issue to look at the IGDA's Credits and Awards committee first
draft guidelines, and participate in the industry-wide discussion
there:
http://www.igda.org/wiki/IGDA_Credits_and_Awards_Committee (these were
previously referenced by Hal).
