Hi Everyone,

I hope that you had a great holiday season. We trust you have been pretty
busy.

Europe Content
The content for this year's Casual Connect Europe 2008 conference is
stellar, which I'm sure you have already studied but here are a couple of
highlights for fun:

1. Sound. This year we will be adding a new set of sessions regarding
sound design. Since we normally do not have many sound designers attending
CGA events, these sessions are also designed to be interesting to game
designers, producers and anyone interested in the creative process. more

2. We have increased the amount of game design and production content.
The business folks have been caught red-handed skipping the content to have
their meetings, so content lovers have thus been rewarded.
3. Adeo didn't forget us - in his only European stop as the outed
founding member of TheFunded.com - Adeo will give us information about
getting VC money as an entrepreneur. Read more about TheFunded.com

2. If you do not already have your hotel booked, make sure to stay at
the hotel reserved for

You
can reach just about anyone in the casual space by using the

Press Announcements
If you are doing something cool enough to warrant making an announcement at
Casual Connect Europe, please email the release to news at casualconnect.org by
January 31st, we will keep all announcements in embargo until the morning of
Wed the 6th. The announcements will be handed to the attendees and will be
emailed to our members not in attendance.

Parties
Anyone who has been to a Casual Connect Conference before knows that we will
fill up not only your days - but also your nights. This year is no
exception, pick up your badge and have some drinks on the 5th (Tuesday),
Party with Real on the 6th (Wed) and the MumboJumbo party on the 7th
(Thursday).

Let us know if you have any questions or need help with anything. We will
send one more email about the conference to get everyone ready - and then a
summary of announcements on the first day so those who can't make it to
Amsterdam will still feel part of the action!

P.S. #1 Please note that we will *NOT* be doing a big party in San Francisco
this year, our supporting corporate members indicated they are going to be
placing their early-year business development focus with the Casual Games
Association event in Europe and will not be sending large delegations to San
Francisco. We realize this may affect developers on the West Coast USA, so
we have set up a system for those developers so out-of-pocket expenses for
Amsterdam will be the same as GDC, email us for more information.

P.S. #2 To receive everything that the CGA offers - we need to have a valid
postal mailing address on file. No fun I know. But, believe me you are
missing out big time. If you didn't get a package in the postal mail in the
last month, click the Update Profile/Email Address link below to update your
address.
