[casual_games] CasualCharts.com: Which Yahoo list is the "correct" list?

Most portals have many different top 10 lists and they are usually poorly
labeled. It is very hard to decide which lists to archive. In most cases I
archive many different lists from the same portal. But I currently only
focus on download games for Windows and Mac. So I don't archive the list of
free web games are lists that combine web games and download games. The
list you mention has many non-download games like Pool and Spades. In the
case of Yahoo I archive the "Featured" list of download game found here:
http://games.yahoo.com/downloads I also archive the "Top Downloadable
Games" list that is shown in the bottom corner of each game detail page for
example this one:
http://get.games.yahoo.com/proddesc?gamekey=bookwormadventures I believe
this one most representative of the current best sellers and therefore the
most useful.

My preference is to show the list that contains the top sellers or top
downloads rather than games that are "featured", highly rated, or high
converters. This is often NOT the list on the front page. If you can find
a better URL for a list of top selling download games on Yahoo.com I would
like to see it.

I am always open to suggestion for new portals to archive or alternate lists
to use on existing portals. Now that the World map is customizable people
can pick which portals to view and I am free to add more portals to the
archive without cluttering up everyone World Map view. (unless they are
using the legacy World Map that shows EVERY portal in the archive and has no
options)

If you aren't using the new customizable World map then you should be. I
personally use a bookmark to that page which includes my preferences for
which lists to include and which to hide. Here is my personal World Map
configuration which I view every day.

People with smaller monitors, or different interests would likely use a
different set of options.
