Hey all,

Only a few folks joined the community chat on 10/18, but it was a really
fruitful discussion. Some great ideas and discussion came out of it around
possible initiatives and more efficient communication. The most notable are
below:

Podcast

- Great first effort, would love to see continued
- Greatest need is a new producer (community volunteer) to organize the
podcasts **PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU'RE INTERESTED IN DOING THIS**
- Original producer got swamped and needed to step away
- Would be great to partner with relevant blogs/news sites (e.g.
Gamezebo, Inside Social Games) to publicize podcast

Webinars

- Interesting idea for sure
- Dave will get past webinar results from IGDA head office
- Again, would need a producer/organizer/chief advocate

Integration with local IGDA chapters

- Try to set up database of speakers with casual game expertise to be
provided to local chapters looking for speakers
- Think about trying to set up local casual meetups in areas with
critical mass of casual/social developers (e.g. San Francisco, Seattle)
-
