Introducing Computer-based Documentation to Residential Aged Care: A
Multi-method Evaluation of Success


This Australian Research Council funded research project with five aged 
care
industry partner organizations is now offering the following positions:

PhD scholarship (Australian Postgraduate Scholarship) Position 
Description:
an Australian Postgraduate Scholarship (Industry) is available for a PhD
student to investigate the issues related to information technology 
adoption
and benefits realization in residential aged care.

Criteria: Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent 
residents, and
hold a relevant degree with research component in human sciences, or 
social
sciences, or informatics or management or education or cognitive 
science.
Career professionals interested in returning to higher degree studies 
are
particularly encouraged to apply.

.	A degree with research component in the field of social sciences or
informatics or management science or education or health or nursing or
cognitive science.
.	Health or aged care work experience, particularly nursing, is
preferred.
.	The position requires travel to Queensland, New South Wales and
Victoria, in some cases to regional and remote locations, for field data
collection in residential aged care facilities.


Stipend:  $25,627 tax free		
Duration: three years, with possible extension of half a year.
