Below is a job description forwarded on behalf of Faruk Avdi:
 
The NSW Department of Education and Training needs user experience
design professionals - or those with a strong propensity for this kind
of activity and who can show relevant experience and maturity to make a
case of sufficient equivalence. Three positions are soon to be available
in Sydney, Australia, just a short stroll away from the Opera House and
Circular Quay.
 
The attached document is a preview of the user experience design and
management positions soon to be advertised. Until such time as they are
advertised (which will be some time in the next few weeks) we are
seeking expressions of interest from individuals. People are most

A passion for the user experience design of systems, services, online
products and an associated stomach for detail is what we need. The roles
on offer are part architectural, part management, part design. The major
opportunity is to carry ideas from inception forward; to manage; to
operate; to define and modulate practice; and to take full
responsibility for large-scale complex online channels purely and simply
in the public interest.
