Looking to understand more about life in Buenos Aires? Talktime is an interesting and provocative way to meet and interact with porteños.
There are 90 talktimes weekly, scattered around the city. Most are in English (mainly for porteños), many are in Spanish (great for foreigners), some are in other languages.
Topics are suggested weekly so the conversation is always fresh -- topical or fluffy -- and lively. In addition to enhancing language skills, it's a wonderful way to meet porteños and better understand the local way of life.

Members are encouraged to organize volunteer activities and fundraiser events to support the best Argentine non-profit organizations. YesBA works towards this social objective in partnership with HelpArgentina. If you are interested in volunteer work in Argentina or from abroad (which is greatly needed), go to www.HelpArgentina.org/volunteers.php. YesBA members can make a posting to promote their own events and activities. Members can also make a housing, employment, goods/services or important information posting. All approved postings will be placed on the YesBA website and sent to the YesBA community via in our e-Bulletin.
HOW TO POST AN ENTRY TO YESBA: Any registered YesBA member can make a posting. To do so, please login to our website, www.yesba.org, go to the category in which you wish to place your message and post it. Your posting will be reviewed and, upon approval, placed automatically in our next eBulletin and online. In case you have problems, contact us at yesbayesba at gmail.com. Although we post almost all entries, please remember that sometimes messages are not accepted or significantly edited.
COST OF MEMBERSHIP: There is absolutely no cost to join the YesBA community as it is maintained completely by volunteers.
