Great info, but wondering if a person with that degree of sight-impairment 
simulated with that image should really be driving at the moment!

Good colour-blindness checker here: 
http://www.etre.com/tools/colourblindsimulator/ - (you need to put images in 
JPEG RGB format and less than 1000x1000 in size).

Would be good to collate a list of such tools to aid designers.
