[image: Windows] [image: Windows Insider Program] Hello Windows Insider, As you know, our engineers are continually drawing on feedback from Insiders like you ? and the work they?ve put into the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview* builds shows it. These builds showcase an exceptionally large number of features inspired directly through Insider feedback. They cover everything from gaming to security, accessibility to multi-tasking. Check out a few highlights below for PC and let us know what you think. On another note, we'd like to thank you all for your incredible response to our recent Windows Insider Program survey. The feedback you provided will help us tailor the Insider Program to your specific needs and interests. Congratulations to Peter H. of Sweden who won our draw for a $1,500 (USD) Microsoft Store gift certificate for completing the survey. Windows 10 Insider Preview Build Highlights As usual, you can go here for more details on all the latest Windows 10 Insider Preview builds for both PC and mobile . - *Do more at once with the new Compact Overlay window.* Keep watching a movie or video chat on one corner of your screen ? even when switching apps to check email or browse the web. When an app window enters compact overlay mode, it?ll be shown above other windows so it won?t get blocked. Look for updates to the Movies & TV app and Skype Preview app to take advantage of this feature in the near future. - *A smart way to lock your PC.* Dynamic Lock automatically locks your Windows 10 PC when you?re not around, based on the proximity of your Bluetooth-paired phone. If your Bluetooth-paired phone is not found near your PC, Windows turns off the screen and locks the PC after 30 seconds. - *Announcing braille support in Narrator.* We love getting feedback from our visually-impaired Insiders and implementing features to support your needs. You said, ?too many duplicate pieces of feedback!? So now, we?re happy to announce Collections which groups together feedback for similar problems and suggestions. Info for IT Pros - *New Windows Insider Program features for business.* We?ll soon be introducing new features and functionality to better support the IT Professionals and business customers in our Insider community. Among the highlights: the option to participate in the Windows Insider Program with corporate credentials (rather than just your Microsoft account). This will also give you increased visibility of your feedback ? especially on features that support your organization?s specific business needs. Plus, we?ll connect you to a robust community of IT experts with insights on the topics you care about most. And that?s just the beginning. For more information and to let us know what other activities you?d like to see included, please complete our pre-registration form . - *Public Preview of Windows Analytics: Update Compliance.* Update Compliance is a free service that provides you with a holistic view of Windows 10 update compliance for the devices in your organization, including installation status for both monthly quality updates and new feature updates. I am new around here, and have not been able to make GDC, though I do want to get out there that I am currently designing a Unity asset/s to bake in a lot of accessibility features. My intent is that developers can drop it in and go with a few touchpoints like an options screen, etc. My hope is reducing the barriers to implementation will help game devs reduce barriers for players. Cost can also be a barrier so I really want to make this open source. With that in mind, I may be looking for help down the road to develop and test. > And if this goes well enough, I'd be awesome if the Unity team takes the asset/s and builds it directly in to Unity. > I also plan to do something similar for HTML5 game frameworks - if this goes well. > So this asset to help implement audio is one challenge I had not yet figured how to handle. > If you know of anyone else working in something similar, please let me know. I guess this is all a bit like the Olympics / Paralympics now. Some people categorised in the Paralympics out perform some of the people in the Olympics, and some would easily compete in the standard Olympics. However, for those who are facing bigger barriers, it may be really good to have different leagues that you can compete a little more fairly in. However, I'm not very knowledgeable at all about eSports, apart from people have been playing them since the days of Pong. Anyone else here have more thoughts and leads? It may be an idea to start small with some international 1 on 1 and small team battles, make them regular, get them on Twitch and start some mini-leagues. Good luck!
