I'm guessing that a lot of folks are just lurkers, may have some ideas, but are keeping them close to their chests.

I won't be attending GDC this year. My feeling is that GPS as a technology still has a severe lack of mobile titles (and innovation) to warrant a visit. Augmented reality gaming just hasn't matured enough yet but I do expect it to be a much larger focus in 3-5 years.

As a web developer I have been quietly frustrated with the maternal tactics of mobile phone carriers. The explosion of the Internet was due to open protocols and lack of gatekeepers. These carriers (with exception to perhaps Nextel) stifle almost all innovation. It's kind of sad really.
