Hello everyone!

I have quietly been reading the list for some time now and feel that i have
to make a contribution!

I´m currently developing a turnbased multiplayer game and was wondering if
anyone knows something about the technologies we plan to include.

First is J2ME polish <http://www.j2mepolish.org/>, someone claimed that it
would make optimizing for different handsets (even MIDP1 OR 2) a breeze...
anyone had any experience with it?

I´m looking at different UI´s too, and I wonder if anyone knows anything
about the Synclast UI <http://www.synclast.com/index.jsp>? Or does anyone
have experience with any other?

What about mobile .svg <http://www.w3.org/TR/SVGMobile/> ? Is it feasible to
use as a base for the client UI? Is there an (free) implementation
somewhere? I know Nokia made one but it is EXPENSIVE... anyone knows
something?

And finally we are planning to build the system around the OMA game service
specs <http://www.openmobilealliance.org/release_program/gs_v10.html>
especially the opensource implementation GASP <http://gasp.objectweb.org/>
anyone had any experience with it?

Or are all these nice technologies just a waste of time and we are better
off doing everything from scrath (as usual) ??

What would you do?

Hope I don´t bore you to death with all my questions!

Until next time...Live long and prosper
