We are, and right now we are very excited about a new lib out there... GledPlay. We used to develop using Gapidraw, but it is extremly expensive. This new lib seems to have everything that gapidraw have, but it includes video and sound playback (mpeg, wav, mod, ogg, etc..). It's quite complete... and free! We've been doing some test with it and so far, so good. Before we start development with GledPlay, we are going to do some more test, but also, we would like to know if any of you had performed tests with it. We would like to know your opinion about it (it's new, so we would like to know everything that is possible before using it). I'm sending a link, just in case: http://www.gledplay.com Also, the documentation is quite good, no as many libs out there, like edgelib... http://doc.gledplay.com Regards, Serge. -- EppurSiMuove -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... Thanks for the tip. We'll certainly give it a look and do some testing with it. What are the results you've gotten from testing? Would you mind sharing? We've completed a couple of proof of concepts, porting parts of some of our old projects, with GledPlay. Also, we've done some performance and profiling tests with excellent results. We tested everything on PPC, not SmartPhone, because we don't target platform. After 2 weeks, we've decided to start our next project on Monday with GledPlay. If you do any kind of test with it, would you mind to let us know the results? Thank you, Serge.
