DUH!

That is how it is SUPPOSED to work. If he doesn't want to have your
traffic stopping his CD he has two choices: Turn off the Traffic
Alert, or change stations.

You should keep doing it, and tell him to pound sand.

If a station near me did that, I would tune them in, and keep
listening to my iPod or Pandora. I WANT to be alerted to traffic
problems. On the other hand, traffic reporting has become so bad....
