So I just bought one of these off ebay.   Not a pod in the normal sense.

 

It is in a pod case with a 40pin ribbon cable coming off.  But internally it
is a bunch of wirewrap built up on a:

Looks like a fluke part protoboard for building your own adapters.  There is
a bunch of TTL  in it and one PAL16L8BNC.  If it's legit I suspect I need to
use some other pod to drive this but I have no clue what.
