[Techtoolslist] Sencore CM2125 Monitor Analyzer

John,
I am finding the same thing for CGA. The picture is stable, but
there is keystoning and the raster is oddly shifted. After digging a
little, I found that the default CGA settings stored in the 2125 (recall
position 0) don't match the standard for CGA
(http://www.arcade-museum.com/monitor.html). I think I'll try setting all
of the timing parameters manually (page 16 of the 2125 manual) and see if
that helps any.

Thanks

James

We've been using one of these for a few yearsm, great tool!

Here are our settings:

CGA: 15.8KHz-H, 640PIX-H, 60.5Hz-V, 200PIX-V

EGA/Medium: 20.0KHz-H, 512PIX-H, 60Hz-V, 384PIX-V

CGA looks a bit odd, I'd have figured 30Hz for Vert, and the 640X200PIX
seems wrongish, however this is what Alex uses to test our customers
monitors and he is very happy with the results.

YMMV, TANSTAAFL!
