[Techtoolslist] Wireless Enabled Fluke 9010A, Anyone?

OK, so there is some interest at least! 

I just finished cleaning up the PCB artwork a bit and ordered 3 pieces each of the interface adapter PCB, and the antenna "shelf" PCB from OSHPark. I'll build one up and re-fit one of my Fluke's having a routed PCB with a full-spec boardset to be sure everything still fits as intended. Assuming that is fine (it should be), it will be ready to go. 

As a side question - did the picture come through on-list from my earlier post? If it didn't send me an email off-list and I'll forward it to you so you know what it looks like once installed. To answer one question I got - I know I could have designed the adapter to have been "plugged into" the adapter board from the opposite direction, but that would have prevented access to the buttons on the Lantronix board, and it would have caused the stack to grow larger/higher than it already was. So, I opted to remove the Arduino headers completely to get a lower profile. From reading, I also gather that there may be another option board (timing board, IIRC) for the 9010's that may occupy that open cavity internally. Neither of my units have that board fitted, so I don't know for sure - does anyone have knowledge of that option board and/or where it's installed? 

To those who were interested, what level of DIY did you have in mind? I can do whatever is needed really - from just sharing the PCB designs on OSHPark (which has a minimum order quantity of 3 pieces each, at about $11 per set), to partially populating the boards, to full assembly with the xPico shield board right up to the point of attaching to your factory RS232 interface board. 

To put a number on the cost, the total cost in components and PCB's (assuming OSHPark) is going to be around $75, not including S&H charges or any applicable taxes. 

If there was enough interest, I could also run a panel of PCB's from a prototype house and de-panel them on my router here to save a little cost on PCB's too. 

I'm not looking for a lot of new projects to take on (I've got a pile of them waiting for me already), but I'm more than happy to help out for those who were interested in breathing some new life/technology into their 9010's.
