[Techtoolslist] 9100 replacement screen?

A few years ago, I was in contact with Noritake about getting the specs for an obsoleted (custom) display used in a scale head to look at the feasibility of designing a retrofit for it. Ultimately, the customer chose not pursue it (and spend a couple hundred thousand to outright replace what was otherwise a perfectly usable scale, but that's another story).

To the point, after explaining the situation, the gentleman below was very helpful in getting me the spec sheet for that custom display. Someone may want to try and reach him to ask about this display as well to see if anything can be done in terms of retrofit.

Noritake still makes a variety of display tubes - including the 256 X 24
or 256 X 32 style. Perhaps something here can be kludged into place?
