"I updated my site and everything needed to build the adapter is now
available on my site once more. Thats not going anywhere for now.")
Hi John,
I hope you are well.
I’m not on the TT list any more, and I don’t really want to re-join just to post this so could you relay this message for me please.
I will make the binary files available (GB layout and USA layout) on my website shortly, along with the latest version of the circuit.
I should note that the circuit did have 1 or possibly 2 errors. I don’t recall if i corrected them or not. Hell, I struggle to remember what I did 2 months ago, let alone 8 years back. Bottom line is that if people have the know-how to properly use a Fluke 9100 then they most certainly have the know-how to know if the PIC circuit is correct or not. It’s mostly common sense when you build it.

Regarding the source, I took it off my website years ago. Yes, I foolishly passed it on to one or two people who proceeded to question this and question that. For this reason, I expressly stated that I no longer wanted the source to be distributed regardless of what it may or may not say in the files (refer to my point above about my bad memory - I’m not kidding here). I thought I made this request quite politely and clearly. I most certainly did not give permission for it to be made available on some public distribution / contribution site like GitHub.

Bottom line, it saddens me firstly that people seem to be incapable of just taking something, doing what they wish with it for their own use, without feeling the need share it with the world. I’ll leave it there. I WAS quite happy for people to take it use it for themselves.
Finally, i’d like to say that the assumption that the number of 9100 owners could fit in a phone booth (box, I’m English!) is out and out nonsense. The amount of queries I’ve had over the years hold testament to that and we all know that these things are still very much actively pursued by industry, that’s half the reason the prices are driven so damn high.
I would far sooner all this creative and technical talent be put to use to put together a modern alternative than chasing after the old stuff!
Bottom line is that I have some personal things going on at the moment that mean I cannot provide any help and support with something I did 8 years ago, I simply have more important things on my mind. Apologies in advance to anyone that might be new to the 9100 but seriously, if you’re technical enough to know what your doing with the fluke, I’m sure that with what I will have on my site you can work it out.
Best regards,
Martin.
