The 91**a has a 68000 cpu and the 91**ft has a 68030 cpu. The only
difference is in the speed, all functions are the same but boot time and
processing time are faster on the ft.

To expand the RAM beyond 8mb on the ft we need an unserialised service disk
(Macro maybe working on that :-) but it has been argued that no one is
utilising 8mb yet :-).

Your right that the 9100* probe is not the same as the 9010a probe but you
can do all of the other tests without it. The 9100* can operate standalone
and do the usual ram, rom, bus and I/O tests that the 9010 can but it also
has some other benefits like being able to test 16bit data busses and also
get sigs from interleaved roms with the step option. (Thank you Andy :-)

The 9132a or 9132ft are for the 16 and 32bit processor but use a completely
different way to test them. You actually replace the bios chip and there is
an adapter for each cpu to control the uut which is done via an adapter
that sits between the processor and the motherboard.

The 9100* is more powerful even as a standalone fixture not running custom
code compared to a 9010a or 9005a but if all you want to do is basic ram,
rom, bus and I/O tests the 9010a or 9005a will do just fine.

The 9100* video card is impossible to find unless someone has a beyond
repair unit. Maybe one day someone will find a box full of them.
