Hi John.   I'm aware of the above.   Trust me, people have used the
above Jameco part to make a replacement unshielded cable.  The
shielded cables are a totally different beast,  you can still do it
but it is a lot more complex as you have twice as many wires so you
have to fit a ground bar inside the DIP plug header.

I'm curious to know if anyone makes a 64pin DIP plug,  Jameco does
not.  I have a 68000 cable I would like to repair.   The only option I
know of right now is to fab up a 64 pin version of Paul Swan's pcb.
