They were discontinued a while ago.

I thought about building one a while ago but $111 seemed pretty
expensive for the parts IMO (plus the cost of the case).   I guess if
you want the programmed PIC you're paying for everything though I
never did followup with EDS to ask
if you can just get the PIC.
