data east pinball power supply HV transistors work well too. i think thy are mje15031 and 15030. you do have to swap the legs. i mount them, and solder jumper leads from the legs to the board. much easier than twisting the legs.

Bd237 and Bd238 seem to work well but you have to shuffle the legs around. (Think pin 2 and 3 are swapped). Cheap and easy to find.Sent from my Galaxy

Who is maintaining this?
I ask because on page 8 there is a typo - that I've only just
realized when I was going through trying to update my WG monitors
as we have a pair of SWs that are running WGs (with the LV2000
kits).
It says "R701 (1.3K) changed from +/-2%, 1/4W to +/-1%, 5W.(*)"
That can't be right, I am certain it should instead say:
"R701 (1.3K) changed from +/-2%, 1/4W to +/-1%, 0.5W.(*)"
and it would be clearer with:
"R701 (1.3K) changed from +/-2%, 1/4W to +/-1%, 1/2W.(*)"
It makes no sense otherwise. There simply can't be enough current
for a 5W resistor as this is ground biasing the base of a small
signal transistor.
Then there is the question of Q604/Q704 (MPSU07) transistors
upgraded to TO-202 (NTE-49) which looks like another problem as
there is no NTE-49 and hasn't been for decades. That was the same
as the ECG-49, which was a NPN-Si, 125Vcbo, 2A, Gen Purpose
TO-202. Anyone have a workable replacement to save me the lookup
time?
I'm thinking a Rv1.2 is overdue...
