I'd say cute is a good way to go but in a mature way - Cake Mania's host
is cute, Diner Dash is cute, Chuzzle is cute, but they don't make you feel
like its a baby game.   The UI and supporting graphics have a somewhat
more mature look to them.  Going all 2d cartoon could end up giving the
impression of a children's game, but using more grown up environment or
sold interface can usually counter balance that.
