Great info Derrick,
What is the source for that info?
Media Metrix, Nielsen or collected from each portal's own media
kit/traffic info?

Thanks for sharing that detail.

Subject: [casual_games] Portal Traffic

I've been looking at portal site traffic numbers in published articles
and self-reports trying to get a handle on exactly how high the numbers
are for unique visitors monthly at some of the largest portals. The
latest numbers I found suggested that some of the largest were getting
as many as 8 million unique visitors a month, but a friend who knows the
business quite well suggested that the numbers may be quite a bit
bigger.

I wonder if folks on the list who are from the larger portals could
comment on traffic, or give some clearer sense of how big the traffic
is, maybe even growth patterns?
