You should also definitely try to set up as many meetings as you can several
weeks prior to the event. There are obviously opportunities to meet new
people, but many publishers/distributors have calendars full of meetings by
the time they arrive at these conferences.

If you are a developer in Europe and you’re trying to establish contact with
the major players, this event is pretty much a must.
Probably the most productive time casual game developers can spend to
network with portals, publishers, tech companies and fellow developers.

How many are planning on attending this year? I heard it was quite good last
year.
I think you mean *Casuality* Amsterdam.
Yes.. Feb 5-7
I'm curious... how interesting/useful is this convention? I saw it costs
somewhere around 400$ to attend for three days.
I'm a one-man developer and am sometimes aching for contacts in the same
branche. What kind of people typically attend?
Since I live a half hour from Amsterdam it looks like something I shouldn't
miss. But I'm not so rich that I can just jump into something with this
steep a cost. Basically what I'm asking for... does anyone have any
experiences concerning this convention that they want to share?
