If Vista is going to be a serious problem for casual games, maybe the best
thing for the industry is for a large portal which has thoroughly vetted
Vista to take Microsoft to court. Maybe Vista's release could be blocked on
the grounds that its release could destroy a portal's business? Small
portals and developers might not be able to afford taking on the big "M" but
a joint lawsuit might do the trick.

As an alternative, could the ESRB be sued for refusing to create a workable
model for casual games when it is about to develop a near-monopoly on game
ratings thanks to its integration with Microsoft Vista?

That or the casual game industry is going to have to educate the public
about how to use (or, er, work around?) Vista's game restrictions.
