We might have a solution for you called igShowcase, it's not currently 
getting any development effort due to other commitments but we'd be 
happy to share the details with you.

"igShowcase is a commerical project, the aim to is develop a secure and 
affordable 3D model showcase facility. Based on OpenGL, and written in 
C++, igShowcase enables 3D Models, including textures, to be securely 
downloaded from the internet and presented within the browser window. 
The application takes advantage of the integrated igLoader network 
commands to provide delivery of the remote files.  Once igShowcase is 
installed on the client machine the serving website need only point it 
to the secure media files, the application will handle the rest. "
