[casual_games] invitation to contribute to "business models" section of casual games whitepaper

I would like to invite all participants of this mailing list to
contribute to the Business Models section of the 2006 IGDA Casual Games
Whitepaper.

 

Hopefully everyone on this mailing list has read previous editions of
the Casual Games whitepaper - it's a great resource that pulls together
into one place a ton of useful information about the casual game
industry. If you haven't already read it, you can find the 2005 edition
here:

In the past, the whitepaper has been put together by a small group of
volunteers, but every year after it comes out we get email from folks
who complain about not having the opportunity to contribute themselves.
This year there can be no excuses, because the whole casual game
community is being invited to participate! We are editing the 2006
whitepaper as a Wiki which means it has become a living document to
which anyone can contribute.

 

To get the ball rolling on the Business Models section, I've put
together a table-of-contents overview that I've included below. Please
look through this - if you see any areas that you feel especially
passionate about, or where you feel you have useful information to
share, then please visit the site and contribute!
