You didn't spot my sarcasm then!
As a developer it's very frustrating, and if you frequent certain
private developer forums you'll know many, many terrible stories of how
restrictive and petty platform holders can be. However, I understand why
they do it, even if their TPR teams are sometimes not living on the same
planet as the rest of us.
You won't find me saying it's a good thing because, quite frankly, it's
a nightmare for independent developers and I frequently bang on about
how we should not be treated like the EA's of this world - in a positive
way and not a negative one.
