All,

> Unity has always struck me as odd. The website looks very slick,

The Mac-only nature of our tool is rooted in company history, we were
born a game dev company rolling our own engine and the internal
platform of choice was the Mac. Over time the choice was made to be a
tool vendor and not a game company and so Unity, the dev tool, was
born on the Mac. With the 2.0 release we've now added key run-time
functionality which we felt was more important than a Windows IDE We
fully recognize that being Mac-only limits our overall growth and as
such a Windows IDE is on the road-map as a high-priority work item.
If you're interested in Unity then please feel free to drop me a line
off-list or visit our site (URL in signature). Or we can discuss it
here if y'all want to ask questions, I don't want to turn this into
an unsolicited sales-pitch opportunity.

Cheers,
