[casual_games] Zynga Gunning Up (And Lawyering Up) For WarAgainst Facebook With Zynga Live

But it does beg the question, that if Zynga were to move out onto their own site, would the traffic still be as high?

I only ask this because it seems to me that the phenomenal number of users they have is because people on Facebook could choose to play with one another, many times reminded due to the constant "wall-posts-from-games", WHILE they were catching up with their friends.

I wonder if the same number of people might be willing to take the effort to go to another site, just to play games...

What Arrington wrote was: "But a much bigger concern now is Facebook's force feeding of Facebook Credits as the only payment platform that Zynga and others can use."

So he's saying the "force feeding" is specific to "Zynga and others".

I'm sure most of the people who can answer that question definitively are under NDA, but it is not being forced on all developers, at least not yet.

Are these facts accurate? Maybe I have been living under a rock but I and missed the news about Facebook Credits being forced as the only payment options. Last I heard, Facebook was offering a Facebook credits system with a 30% fee but it was an option and developers were free to use it while also using Offerpal and other payment solutions. Has this changed?
