Hi All,

I don't know if I am responding correctly :) It's my first time here :)

I am not long in the casual games business (just 3 years) but from my point of view casual market get much bigger and much more segmented. So maybe "casual games" are not different, but more complex.

There maybe two people working "in casual games" doing completely different stuff. Hidden object games and iOS games for example.

There are more casual players, more casual games, more casual games genres. But if you were really good in casual games several years ago - I think that you may just keep doing your job :)

Hi All,

It's time for another topic of the week, this one sure to raise some
eyebrows: Defining 'Casual Game'. It comes from one of you - so sending stuff in works!

Has the definition of a 'casual game' changed over the last few years?
Do you think it has changed for you? for your company? for your target audience? for the press? What difference has that change made?

As always, if you have any suggestions please feel free to send them to me at sheri at designdirectdeliver.com.

Stay awesome!
Sheri
