[casual_games] Virtual mini conferences

I really like this idea, but I wish there was a format with less barriers to entry than Second Life. Specifically, one that worked on Gnu/Linux and didn't require installing anything. Perhaps something in Flash? If people only had to pop open their browser at the right time, we'd probably see more attendees.
