Figures on the large shareware indie developer sites (such as
dexterity) consistently point to orders of magnitude smaller market on
OS X, but orders of magnitude higher conversion rates. Off the top of
my head, the ratio of windows sales to OS X sales varies from around
2:1 to 6:1, depending upon the game (novelty, quality, genre) and the
ways in which it is promoted to mac users.
