More plainly:  I don't think social games as I encounter them on Facebook meet 
Blow's definition.  Nor do I think that his definition of evil is itself any 
good.  Detriment and evil are not synonyms.  Social games cause occasional mild 
inconvenience and annoyance perhaps when someone doesn't want one's wall 
plastered with gift requests or news, but inconvenience and annoyance do not 
amount to actual evil as we commonly understand that term.  --Hal
